Children’s accounts
You can book an appointment to open a child’s bank account if you’re their parent or guardian. You’ll need to have proof of the child’s identity, like their birth certificate or passport, with you during the appointment.
Childrens accounts:
- BarclayPlus account – just right if you’re 11 to 15 years old
- Young Person’s Account – for 16 or 17 year olds
